Axis 360 app good for
I joined a gym about the same time that I set up my Axis 360 library account and have been listening to audio novels thru Axis 360 while I work out. It makes the time fly.
I also do a lot of reading and used to spend a lot on Kindle ebooks. No more. Now they are all free on Axis 360. Sometimes I have to get in line for a new release but thats a small inconvenience. There are always hundreds of book immediately available for checking out. Love it!

Cool app. Works great. Really happy my library joined-but disappointed in the # of books available. Just heard that NYPL is allowing access to more books on a different app... Hopefully my library/this app will provide more!
Can crash but problems fewer over time. Wish you could buy a voice to read text
So fabulous to have access to my library. I travel a lot and having audio and e book options is great.
Some bad moments
If I am reading a book, no complaints. If I close my iPad and try to return to what I was reading at a a later time, then the frustrations sets in. Opening the app and navigating thru borrowing, viewing or reading the app freezes and or time out. I have to close and open several times before I can actually start reading. One positive with the last update, if I close my iPad while I am reading when I open it again it goes right back to what I was reading. But once I start to navigate, then frustration again
When it works, its great! However there are several error message that pop up randomly and cause great frustration. Theres error 5000 and error 3227, error 3000st showed up last night! Make sure you have a back up paperback!
The app is pretty helpful for the most part, but I waited over a month for a book(although the wait time was 21 days) and on the 32 day is was still on hold, so I checked in on the 37, and it was gone! The app didnt send a notification or email or anything telling me about the book. Then, when I went on to request it again, the wait time was 63 days!
This app is one of the worst reading apps that I have seen. It crashes constantly, and takes forever to load. I would have deleted this app months ago, if not for the fact that the library uses it for ebooks. I really wonder why the library doesnt just use kindle like they used to, as it is a similar app, but much better in almost every possible way.
Im trying to read an ebook and Im having a terrible experience. Why does the app put me back at the main menu instead of putting me back in my book when I have switched apps. This app should keep me in my book instead of making me start over.

This app is so badly put together. It doesnt maintain state, so every time you switch out of it, it resets and have to start up again, including a *slow* trip to the Internet to do who knows what. In addition, when you renew a book after the loan has expired, you keep getting a message about the book not being authorized on your device, until you remove the local copy and download it again -- and lose your bookmarks in the process. Total garbage, my library system should be ashamed to spend money on this and force me to use it.
